Hi!!! I see you out there in Internetland.
Just want to say that you’re doing great.
I know you may be tired, frustrated, unsure, scared, and just wanting to bang your head against the wall (oh, er, is that just me?)
Here’s the thing: Often we judge our best and think it’s not good enough.
We’re all doing the best we can.
My best sometimes looks like typing from bed in my pjs with bad hair and my 4th cup of coffee at 11am.
Other days I put on hard pants and slay dragons.
No matter what, I still show up for life even when I’d rather just stay under the covers. Even if I just do ONE TINY THING, that’s all I need. Then I can go back to bed.
My best doesn’t always entail me invoking the powers of Super Woman, but my best DOES include doing ONE THING each day to move forward, even if that one thing is super “small”.
But, still, even if I don’t “do my best” on a day, that’s ok too. Beating myself up doesn’t do anything to make it better, but having compassion does.
No matter what happens today, show up to the best of your ability. Some days that will be “better” than others. Just let it be what it is.
Remember, you can always go to sleep and wake up to a clean slate. #BringBackTheNap
